Dear Parent/Caregiver,

We are writing to confirm the preferred mode of learning for your secondary school child for semester two (beginning February 3).  We require this information urgently at this time as the remote school and all school building timetables will be impacted. This information will provide us with the required time to build timetables at all sites that meet student educational requirements.

Please note:

  • Remote learning will continue with a quadmestered schedule with required daily attendance from 9 AM to 3 PM through a virtual classroom that includes video-conferencing.
  • Your child’s timetable for semester 2 may have changed since the beginning of September.  Your child is encouraged to log into their student portal to view their home school timetable. If your child is returning to face-to-face learning and they require a timetable change, please contact the Student Services department at your home school.

Please complete the form by Friday, November 27, 2020 at 3 PM to indicate whether your child will remain in the remote learning environment or if they will be returning face-to-face at their home school.

If you have more than one child currently registered in the Remote Secondary School in Avon Maitland, you will need to complete the form for each of them.

Thank you for your timely response.

Sincerely,

Your Secondary Remote Learning Administration Team
